BREAKFAST WITH DAN & CHLOE

 Dan and Chloe spent their last day in Rocky with us, so we decided to head out for breakfast together...

I have been wanting to try out a new restaurant called Dingles....  Quite a trendy little joint and obviously the food must be pretty good as the place was packed...

We had to sit out on the footpath..  Love spending time with this pair...  

The menu was really interesting...  Different to a lot of other breakfast menu's but they still had the favourite.  We were all having trouble deciding but in the end, we all ordered Eggs Benni..

  

Whilst the boys order hot drinks, both Chloe and I ordered fresh juice,  She ordered a green juice special whilst I ordered pineapple..

It was good to just chat,  the guys were working out what they needed to complete their concreting job when Steve goes back down to Brissie..

The Eggs Benni were good...  We ordered bacon with them... We can now see why this place is so popular...

Once we had finished breakfast we headed over to the Shopping Centre.  Steve had picked some sunglasses when we got his new reading glasses.  We were just waiting until the new year to order them.  We thought that if we went and did it this morning, Steve would get Chloe's opinion on these since they were quite different to the ones he had ordered previously...

Unfortunately when we got there, they could not find the frames, so Chloe could only see a photo of them on a computer screen which is no where near as good as seeing them on him in real life....

I also picked up my new shoes that I had put on layby at Christmas time, using my Christmas money...

Once we finished here we headed home to have another game of Dixit... Dan and Chloe enjoy board games and we enjoy playing them with them..

Must remember to pack them and take them to the beach with us...

By the time we had finished playing it was mid afternoon, so time to finish packing up the dinner set that Chloe was taking home with her...

They wanted to drop out for one last visit to see their new puppy before heading home...

It has been so good having them back for the Christmas break.. We will see them quickly again next Tuesday when we head down with their precious little pup Mia..
