PICKING UP MIA....

Well the day has finally arrived that we get to pick up our newest grand puppy...  Chloe is beyond excited...  She has been waiting for over two months for this moment to arrive...

Whilst she was home at Christmas she went out to visit little Mia and play with her daily...  We went out with her a couple of times also..

When we arrived them Mia came running over to us.  She has such a beautiful nature..

I am feeling a little nervous about taking her home... I remember very clearly the puppy days from when we had out beautiful cocker spaniel Honey many years ago.  I remember the sleepless nights and the crying and I must say I am not looking for to a couple of nights like this...

We arrived out at the breeders place at 4pm and they had her all ready for us...

Chloe had given them a couple of toys for her and a blanket when she was home a few weeks earlier, and our breeder had kept the blanket in the box with her dog and the puppies so that when we picked Mia up she was at least coming away with the smells of her Mum and siblings with her...

Our beautiful little Mia...

She sat on my lap on the car ride home...

We have had no dramas with her at all... She just follows us around where ever we go...

When we eat at our table she just sits under our chair... If we are in the lounge watching TV she either sits on our lap or on her bed in the lounge room with us...

Steve has had lots of fun playing with her...

She is such a special little puppy.  She went down to bed around 9.30pm.  Steve woke her to take her outside to do a little wee around 11.30pm and we put her to sleep in our ensuite....

How gorgeous is our little girl...

She slept right through until 5.30am before waking us to take her out to toilet her.  No messes in side at all.  Took her out and she did her business.  She wasn't interested in going back to sleep though, it was play play play.  Still I didn't mind in the slightest as we had now whinging or crying through the night at all.  She did sleep with her little blanket though with all the smells of her mummy and siblings on it...

So gorgeous.... it would be so easy to keep her...
