EXERCISING WITH A FRIEND...

It has been so good to be on the coast catching up with one of my best friends...  It bought back so many memories of the times we both lived in Rocky and got together weekly and sometimes even daily to do life together...

Barb has been so excited that we were coming down here for an extended stay.  We are so alike in so many ways, both enjoying the same things...

We have been swimming together most days of the week... Barb and John moved into their new townhouse in November where there is a pool in the complex. 

 

It's a great pool for swimming laps.... 20metres long and we  have been making the most of it swimming laps.  We start most mornings by swimming between 1.5kms and 2kms a day...

The pool is surrounded by a lovely entertainment area where the residents can book it out for family BBQs or gatherings etc and there are some lovely gardens planted around there.  I particularly fell in love with these gorgeous bromeliads.  I have some similiar they they are very thorny where these appear to have no thorns at all...  

I would love to know which ones they are.  Would love to plant some of these in my garden...
