HOLIDAYING WITH THE GRANDCHILDREN....

 We are now down on the Sunny Coast for six weeks.  We have lots of jobs to do at the house down here but this week our priority is to spend time with our grandchildren...  It's been a good month since we have seen them..

One of my closest friends lives on the coast here as well and she has her grandchildren staying with her at the moment too, and as they are similiar ages to our grandchildren we are planning to do lots of fun things together, mainly in a pool but for the kids that's a real treat and they love it...

Normally we do something with our grandchildren in the morning and then get together with Barb and her grandies in the afternoon.  

Our first full day with them, the rain set in, so we decided that a visit to the Movies would be in order, so we headed to the Movies to see this film..

Although I had seen this movie before, the others hadn't and ass I had really enjoyed it, It wasn't hard to line up again to see it for  a second time...

The movie was about a boy called Peter who was  thrilled that his Grandpa was coming to live with his family. That is, until Grandpa moves into Peter's room, forcing him upstairs into the creepy attic. And though he loves his grandpa he wants his room back - so he has no choice but to declare war. With the help of his friends, Peter devises outrageous plans to make Grandpa surrender the room. But Grandpa is tougher than he looks. Rather than give in, Grandpa plans to get even. 

I thoroughly enjoyed it the second time, probably more so because I sat next to Willow and she laughed the whole way through the movies and her laugh was truly infectious...

After the movies the kids played on the statues out the front of the cinemas before we headed off for lunch..

We ended up having lunch at the shopping centre at Kawana before coming home and getting our togs on and heading down to Barbs fr a swim..

Fun times and precious memories.... hopefully to last a lifetime....
