Catch up from last weekend.
Still trying to catch up this week. It's been busy. Had a really busy weekend last weekend partying. This weekend has been really busy for me. Along with another T/A at school, we have been busy organising a Professional Development Day for the Pupil free day back after the holidays. I've had many late nights, preparting "Certificates", name badges, signs, sign in forms, and then following up with presents, getting handouts printed. Lots of late nights, but at least now I can go away on holidays and not have to worry about any of it. I am kind of enjoying work again this year which has been a huge blessing after a couple of years of turmoil. We have a new Admin team this year, and I must admit, I think we are in for some good times ahead.
Back to a photo share of last weeks Parties.
Chloe's friend Caitlin turned 21 last week so last Saturday night we celebrated like this.
It was a 7os theme night - everyone got into the spirit of dress up, even though it was pretty cold.
Caitlin's mum Karen cooked up a feast for everyone, and it was all served in noodle boxes. It was a great night.
A few snapshots of us during the night.
A few friend shots
and some family shots.
On Sunday we attended another party. Adam turned 10 and had his first party with school friends at home.
Chloe and Amy organised the kids really well.
They played pass the parcel, and had wheelie races
Of course the big boys had to show them how it was done.
They chased after a lolly man who had lollies sewn to his overalls. That was a lot of fun.
The all had wheels of some sort ( including the big boys as well) and had lots of races and competition on wheels,
Do they ever grow up.........
And it wouldn't be a party without a birthday cake.
I'm pretty sure Adam had a blast.
We had another 21st to attend tonight too, but I wasn't able to go. I have the worst head cold, and it is freezing cold here tonight. I have to fly to Brissie in the morning, so didn't want to be out in the night air and get any worse. I have kept well all year, and then at the start of my holidays I come down with this dreadful cold.
Think I need to call it a night, I have to be up very early in the morning. Have to be at the airport at 6am. Looking forward to a few days away with the girls, catching up with my kids, and my parents, and just unwinding for a few days.
Other than making a few cards, there really hasn't been a lot of creativity happening in this house this week.
Will be back again in a few more dates for an update on the holidays. If you are dropping in please say hi. Love to hear from those visiting.
