The end of the Holidays

It was a busy last few days of the holidays. Chloe joined us in Brissie a day early. She took a week of work to be a leader at a Youth Camp at Hervey Bay.
Unfortunately everyone got sick and they had to cancel it a couple of days early. Fortunately for Chloe (and us) she didn't get sick, so she got to join us in Brissie a day earlier than planned. We all went out for dinner as a family and then joined a crowd at Pete's place to watch Qld beat NSW in the last State of Origin game for this year.

On Friday night we got to go check out Colin's band "Starlight Theatre perform at the Tempo Hotel in Fortitude Valley. I am sure I was one of the oldest persons there and I am definately getting older as the noise really got to me. I did enjoy hearing the boys play though. I like their current style of performing.
The girls got their photos snapped at the concert.I flew home Saturday morning. It was nice to get home after having spent the last couple of weeks away. Chloe stayed on as she had her Mid Year Ball and Awards night on Saturday Night.
She actually got to stay here on Saturday night. Her Boss put them all up in the Hotel. Think it was kind of like a special treat for them all, and they had a ball at the Ball.

This was her room.

Saturday night they had their ball - fancy dress of course. Their office came home with a couple of awards, with Chloe being nominated for one as well.
All good things come to an end and she flew home on Sunday evening.
Some of the views from her room.

Whilst she was in Brissie, she got to meet Pete's little Puppy Penny, and of course spoilt her rotten also.
It is easy to see that we are taken by her, and she is very spoilt from not only family members but also Pete's house mates and their girlfriends.

Whilst in Brissie I also got to catch up with this lovely young lady and I got to meet her gorgeous baby girl Ruby.
We also got to catch up with lots of lovely family and friends, My sisters and parents, My friend Bev and Bek, and her children and we also got to meet her lovely husband. Also caught up with friends, Ian and Kathy, Dan and Jenni, and my friend Barb, and her lovely daughter in law YiiMei. It was a busy couple of weeks, but a good time.

Just had to share this cute photo of Chloe with her racoon beanie on. Just thought it was so cute.

It has been a busy few days back at work. One of the other Aides and I organised a PD day for Teacher Aides on Monday. It was a great day, huge success, and we are now working towards our next one.

Finally going to leave you with this
Until next time.....
