Birthday Celebrations

We have had a lovely weekend in Brisbane celebrating Pete's Bithday and catching up with friends. I cannot beleive my son turned 28 this past weekend. Where have those years gone. It was great to celebrate it with him and meet lots of his friends.

On Friday night a group of his friends all went out for dinner to the German Club in Brissie. It was a good night, good for me to meet some of his work mates and catch up with some of his friends I haven't seen for a while, although it was a strickly no camera affair, so I have no photos.

On the morning of his birthday, his flatmates and some of their girlfriends cooked up a storm, and we all enjoyed a special birthday breakfast.
He had to resurrect his birthday balaclava from last her, His Mr Sad/Mr Happy face. He is blessed to have a fine group of friends.
At lunch time we picked Steve up from the Airport ( he flew down that morning) and headed out to Cleveland Point with Honey for a family Birthday Picnic.
It was a lovely relaxing afternoon, and it went way too quickly.

On Sunday we jus hung out with Pete and Penny at his place. Pretty relaxing sort of day, just catching up and chatting, playing with Penny
In the afternoon we watched a movie, and then in the evening we headed out to this amazing restaurant for dinner. Best Indian meals. Definately a favourite place to dine. It was the first time Steve has been here but it didn't take long to convert him.

Love these weekends I get to spend with my kids, Just want to wish my wonderful son a very happy 28th Birthday too. So glad that we got to spend it with him.
