TIME FOR A CATCH UP
Time for a bit of a catch up...
I love clouds, they always look so soft and cuddly, Chloe tok some great shots of clouds at sunset on her way to Brissie when she flew down for Mum's funeral. Just have to share them. God's creation never fails to inspire me, and make me thankful. So often we take the simple things so much for granted.
It is a pity Pete couldn't hang around after Mum's memorial service. He pretty much headed straight back to Brissie. It was a huge week for him, as he only had two days to go before he jetted off overseas himself. It was all a little emotional really, Chloe had also taken off home to change out of her high heel shoes. She never really wears them, so after standing around for a few hours she was looking for some relief. Just after she left, my neice decided that she would like a family photo.. It is not often that we are all around like this so it was such a shame that Pete and Chloe had taken off before we thought of having it done.
It just does not seem the same without Mum being in the photo...
Whilst I was away I came accross these little gems.... I am always on the lookout for ornaments to hang in my little tree. These were a bargain and lovely to decorate my dining table with Easter just around the corner.
Manage to snap some photos of Chloe over the last few weeks.
This girl of ours has been experimenting in the kitchen this past few weeks. Last week she dished us up this meal.... It was delicious and I hope she cooks it again for us soon. It was from a special cookbook that Steve ordered for foods that stop reflux... She has been making us special banana smoothies with ginger and cardemon in as well. Different but very refreshing...
Pete is having a wonderful time on his project abroad. He has been gone over a week now, I guess that is good in that he is now a week closer to coming home again. We miss him terribly. Still he is having a wonderful time, and it will be a once in a lifetime experience for him. Will share more about his time next post.
Just to finish off tonight I thought I would share these with you.
and
Until next time.....
