ALL ABOUT THE BOYS...

Time to update about Pete....

He has now been at Huyro on the Inca Project for the last couple of weeks, and is just loving it.....
He sounds so happy too, and wishes that he was going to be on this project for a bit longer.  He only has another week left on this project and then he is travelling on his own for the next three and a half months.
He has a week to go before he heads off on a 5 day trek to Machu Picchu.  It sounds so exciting and is definitely a place I would like to visit one day.

I have a photo update of Pete's last days in Taricaya in the Amazon, and then some photos of his time in Cusco....  still waiting on photos from Huyro....

Pete spends most of his weekends in Cusco whilst he is on the Inca Project.  He is really enjoying meeting heaps of people from different countries.  There are so many Europeans in Peru, and he is really enjoying learning about all the differnt cultures.

Last weekend he went horse riding with a group of young folk he has met on the projects he has been working on in Peru.  They are all now at Cusco.
The views are breathtaking.  He is loving it in the mountains.

The weekends are for relaxing, and I am sure they hit a few bars and clubs whilst in town.  I know he is enjoying meeting so many different people around his own age from all around the world.

A couple of photos up in the mountains around the Inca Project.  Not sure on all the details but the countryside looks breathtaking, and Pete assures me that it is.

Some of his last photos at Taricaya...

Pretty primitive, and most of Pete's photos that I have seen, show mud, lots of glorious mud.  Apparently it rains more than it is dry there.
The Amazing tree house... Pete enjoyed his visits up to the lookout here.

A few more of the wonderful creatures they worked with at Taricaya.

An update of on our other son (in-law)
We have been fortunate to have Sarah have a week at home with us.  This happened because her beloved man was overseas again.  This is his three overseas trip this year.   He travels with the Citipointe band playing concerts overseas,  He has just come home from Hong Kong and Bangkok.  This is what he has been up too.

They played to packed houses.

He arrived home a few days early... Poor Sarah was torn, whilst she enjoyed her time at home, once she knew Colin was back in Australia she was keen to get home to him.

Tomorrow is a big day.  Our baby turns 21.  Photo update to follow of her 21st Dinner Pary we held last Saturday night ( whilst her sister was home)  Will be back with a photo share of her celebrations in the next day or so,

I can't seem to post a comment on Chloe's birthday post so i will post it here.

Wow 21? How did that happen?
Last I remember she was 18! lol

She is such a beautiful young lady inside and out Karen, you and Steve should be so proud of her.

I love the Paris trunk she got and how beautiful are her flowers.

Happy 21st Chloe.

What a wonderful experience Pete must be having in Peru. I have always wanted to trek to Machu Picchu.

The photos are beautiful. I love the tree house.

What a wonderful opportunity for Colin to be touring and it must be great to have Sarah home.
