ANOTHER ONE OF THOSE FIRSTS....

The first Mother's Day without Mum..
The first Christmas without Mum..
And today is the first of Mum's birthdays that she is not here to celebrate it with us.
It's been a tough morning....
a few tears...
It seems a lot harder being in her home for her birthday and she is not here for it.
This was my Mum on her birthday last year....

My beautiful Mum on her 78th Birthday.

 She would have been 79 today... We would all be going out to celebrate.  We would have made a family day of it....

 We liked to make a special day of it.  Most years we were here to celebrate it with her and she loved that... Because we were always on holidays,  her birthday was always celebrated in holiday mode....

Well today we will still celebrate.  We are all going out for lunch together in honor of Mum's birthday.
It will be good for us all.
I miss her more than anything today.....
I think it is made worse by the fact we are at her place...
I have been incredibly blessed in my life to have the Mum I have had..
I hope that the legacy that she passed onto me can be passed onto my own girls...
Mum you are precious,  Mum you are Missed... and Mum you are still loved beyond measure....
