QUIET NEW YEARS EVE THIS YEAR...

We had a quite one this year....
We didn't go anywhere....
We stayed at home at Sarah's place...
Steve and Sarah were busy building furniture..
The others went to bed around 10pm...
They have a baby in the house so need their sleep.
Steve and I spent New Years Eve doing this....

Putting together Willow's table
We bought the table from Ikea, and Sarah has had us make a few alterations to it.
She wants to use it as a craft table, so we have put a towel rack on the end to hang these pots off...
Attaching the towel rack...

Using his new drill
We wanted to hang these little containers from the rack.
Storeage
Sarah wants to store her crayons, glue, cookie cutters and other bits and pieces she will use when working at her craft table...
Storeage hanging at the end of the table.
It loos great and I am sure that Willow is going to love it...

Her Christmas Present...
Finally set up for her to use....
Can't wait to see it in use...
Last year we got out to see the fireworks at Mooloolabah..
This year the only fireworks we saw were these
Sydney Harbour Fireworks
Sydney display of fireworks...
We watched the whole lot of TV.  it was still a good night as we spent it together....
The afternoon of New Year's Eve, Steve and I were on baby sitting duty while Sarah and Colin had  a date.... They went to the Movies...
I decided to do this with Willow....
Playtime in her pool
It was a little cold, and a bit of an effort to get in, but it was so worth it as we played together...

Having fun together...
Playing with the balls...
Where does this one go Willow

Then it was time for the sliding...
She is getting really good at climbing up and sliding down herself...
Playing with the balls and rolling them down the slide
Loving her Pool
Climbing up the slide...
Loving our time with the kids...
Willow is really getting to know us and loves spending time with us...
We love that she is loving spending time with us, and are going to miss her so much when we head home..
