LUKE & NATALIE'S WEDDING

Whilst Steve was away, Chloe and I had the privilege of attending Luke and Natalie's wedding...
Steve was meant to come also, but unfortunately he was away tending to his parents who were both still recovering from open heart surgery...

It was the perfect day for a wedding.  For the end of way the weather was glorious... in fact you couldn't have asked for more perfect wedding...

It was a lovely service.  Natalie had been very sick in the few days leading up to the wedding, and was still unwell, just before she walked down the aisle....
The boys scrubbed up really well...

Male Bridal party
The bride arrived in a lovely black Mercedes Benz, she was escorted by her Dad
Natalie arriving at the church.
The Bride was a little late...
And made later by the fact that when she got to the church she was actually feeling very sick...
The congregation awaiting the bride.
Waiting the arrival of the bride...
The entered the church by the side door.... This was really well done, asa Natlaie was pretty much hidden from Luke until she actually starting walking down the ailse.

Natalie's Dad walks her down the aisle.
The service was really lovely... quite intimate and you felt as if you were looking into something beautiful with both Luke and Natalie.
Saying their vows.

Exchanging of rings and vows...

Both Luke and Natalie were very relaxed through the whole ceremony.

Natalie got a bit faint there at one stage and had to sit down with her parents....
Luke walked over and stood beside her... So loving and lovely to see.
Natalie needed to sit as she was unwell.
Siging the register and introducing Luke and Natalie Studdart.
Time to greet and kiss both sets of parents...

Walking out of the church after the ceremony
There was a couple of hours break between the ceremony and the reception, so Chloe and I ducked home for an hour or two.... My cousin's son was up for the wedding all the way from Toowoomba and was staying with us, so he took a few photos of Chloe and I together and some of Willow and Chloe....

Photos with Willow...
This wedding was a little different from most that we have been too.  The reception was held outdoors at Luke and Natalie's place just out of town.  and it was lovely.  Fortunately the night was not too cold, as sometimes at this time of year it can be quite cool.
Wedding Setup and our meal...
We all walked through a very special arch to enter the reception area... This arch was all the more special as it was made by the best man's dad who passed away a couple of years ago from cancer.  He was a very good friend to a lot of us and held quite a bit of sentimental value.
More of the decorations.
The Bridal cake was made by a friend... and was almost a gift to them...

Time to cut the cake....

Then the fun began.... they had the throwing of the bouquet
Thowing of the bouquet
My friend Brenda wanted some photos with her son Luke.  He was Luke's best man and had scrubbed up really well in his suit.  Her Luke is as country as they come and this was his first time in a suit.  His Dad would have been so proud of him... He really did look lovely.
The other significant thing about this photo was they wanted it taken under the arch that his dad had made just for occasions like this.
So I took a couple of lovely photos of Brenda and Luke together...
Luke with his mother Brenda...
Then I did a couple of family shots for them and a photo of Luke with his girlfriend Hannah....
Family photos...
Then the dancing started.... Lots of fun dancing out on the lawn..
The shoes all came off.... and even some who don't normally get up on a dance floor got up and had a ton of fun....
Some country dancing and then the chicken dance...
Photos of friends....
Friends enjoying themselves...
The Grooms parents and other friends...

Anyway somewhere around 10pm Luke and Natalie decided to exit the party.....
Everyone got together and formed a long tunnel for them to run through before they left.
Saying goodbye to everyone and leaving...
It really was a lovely afternoon and evening... First wedding for us this year....
Wonder if there will be many more..
