SOME SALT SEA AIR.....

Poor Steve has had a dreadful week...
Although his surgery went really well, he has not been able to breathe through his nose at all since his surgery and has just been sitting around the house feeling miserable...

I decided today that we need to get out.  I go back to work on Monday so today was the day to get out and great some fresh air...

We decided to go for a drive
So we headed down to Yeppoon.  We wanted to spend some time in the sea air to see if it would help clear Steve's nose....

Chatting to those he loves and relaxing by the beach.... what better way to spend an afternoon.

 After enjoying a drink, we headed back to the beach to walk it all off.  It was such a beautiful day, and there was a lovely sea breeze.  It was a pity we had to be back in town by 5.30pm to drop the kids off at the airport....

 Before we headed home. we went for a walk up along the road to Rydges....
it was interesting to see the damage that Cyclone Marcia had done down here on the coast...
The waves must have been horrendous as they went right up over this road and caved in the footpath...

It was a lovely afternoon at the beach, and actually made us both feel good.  Refreshed and relaxed.
We really should do this more often...
