OUTBACK QLD TRIP - DAY 10 - TOOWOOMBA - LAURAL BANK PARK

I think I must have taken a thousand photos on this day.  We went to four amazing parks,  all different but all spectacular in their own right....  so therefore I think each place is worthy of their own posts.

We left the Japanese Gardens and headed for the Laural Banks Gardens.  it was just a sea of colour,  quite spectacular, and surprisingly busy considering it was on the start of the week.

The theme this year was "Around the World"
Love that now with the new phone cameras you can take panoramic  views of the gardens.  Still doesn't not do it justice.

Then it was off to wander around the individual gardens...
Beautiful tulips....
Snapdragons...

Carpets of colour
Kathy at Laural Banks Park

There were so many elements to these gardens,  there were flowering beds, tunnels, sculptures, water themes, and even a western theme.  They were amazing..

Statues scattered around the Park
All aboard
Masses of colour
Colour everywhere

The next section of garden we went to was the sculptured section.  there were all sorts of animals sculptured out of shrubs including a mother duck and her ducklings.

Then we found this avenue of statues in the garden.....

We certainly live in a bright colourful world...

Off to explore the water feature now...
So thankful for the gift of sight to appreciate such beauty

Time to keep moving, we still have two more parks we want to explore before Ian and Kathy leave to head home to Brisbane.  Next we are off to Queen's Park...
