A FEW DAYS AT THE GOLD COAST TO SEE IN THE NEW YEAR

Pete had organised a few days at the Gold Coast for the girls to celebrate the New Year....
A couple of his friends and their wives were joining them....

They headed to the Gold Coast for a few days...

 Unfortunately for Peter's mate Pete, he had broken his ankle on Christmas Day and had his foot in a boot....
They had an amazing apartment...
They were up on one of the top floors....
They had amazing views of the coast.....

 The girls love the blue skies,  blue ocean, and our beaches and were quite happy to spend quite a bit of time on the beach.....
They loved swimming in the surf also, but couldn't get over how you were dragged along the beach by the rips and currents...

 New Year's Eve saw them all celebrate by going out for dinner to a big hotel down the road from their apartment...

 Unfortunately whilst they were having a good time dancing New Year's Eve, Maria's knee gave out on her and she ended up on a heap on the floor....   Couldn't walk at all.    Chloe had to go back and get the car so that they could drive her the two blocks home, and Dan and Pete had to carry her up to the apartment...
It kind of ruined the rest of their time away for Maria.....
At least whilst the others went to the beach for a swim. Pete Moore could keep Maria company as he was pretty limited in what he could do also, which his broken foot.... think they saw a few movies... and enjoyed these views...
