Lathams News: SO FAR BEHIND.....

So far behind with this blog....
The last few weeks have been hugely busy with so much happening that I feel it will be ages before I get on top of this blog and catch up...

We had more hot cross baking days before Easter when the girls came over to make some more hot cross buns...
We had a massive bake up, share some, I took some to work and we froze the rest for Easter....

Chloe doesn't like sultanas so we had to make a dozen of these buns with chocolate chips just for her....

Dan really loves the home made bread so Chloe made sure that she made him a few of these....

Pete decided to treat the Danes to a bit of Aussie tradition and decided to cook them some Hot Cross Buns for Easter also...
They were slightly different to the sort we would have here at home, but they were enjoyed by his Danish family

Pete and Maria's Easter was spent back with Maria's family, getting things ready for the wedding...
They are having their wedding reception back at Maria's family farm, so they have been busy getting painting done and renovating around the house...

It is a bit of a family joke here as our kids helped paint at home wherever painting needed to be done. Pete particularly hated it and swore that he would never paint when he got older, in fact he was adamant that he would always employ a painter to come and do any painting that he needed to have done around his place....

The things you do for Love.... He has spent quite a bit of time at Maria's family home with a paint brush in his hand.
