OUR EUROPEAN HOLIDAY - DAY 47 - HEADING HOME TO ROCKY..

Big sleep in this morning, although I don't think the jet lag has really hit us yet...
It was good to spend a little time with our grand children before having to head out to the airport just after lunch....

Our good friends Ian and Kathy forward joined us for morning tea, keen to hear about our adventures as they had done the same Insight Vacations tour back in 2013. 

Sarah took us to the airport just after 2pm so that we could board our flight for our final leg of the journey home....

We arrived back in Rocky around 4.30pm, and Chloe's boyfriend Dan picked us up from the airport as Chloe was working back in Sydney again...

Can I say how wonderful it is to be HOME.... There is no place like HOME...
Pinching ourselves wondering if we have dreamt the whole thing....
We had been planning this and looking forward to it since January and now it was all over....

One day short of 7 weeks....

FIRST WHOLE FAMILY OVERSEAS HOLIDAY - Wonderful wonderful memories... probably a first and last time...
SPENDING TIME WITH PETE AND MARIA...
THE WEDDING - and what a wedding it was... The absolute highlight of our whole time away..
A NEW DANISH FAMILY - incredibly blessed by these wonderful folk on the other side of the world who have now become our family.
