COUNT DOWN TO A WEDDING....

With less than a month to go until Dan and Chloe's wedding,  we still had a heap of jobs to do at Easter time.  Sarah spent the week with us before we all went to Tannum, and between us all, we all put in hours in the workshop making, and engraving for Chloe's big day.

Chloe wanted some special Shepherd's hooks made to hang vases of flowers from as part of the aisle that she would walk down.... We could have hired some but she found a photo of a pretty scroll one
 that she liked, so dad got the job of making them...  He did a great job also...

 He obviously did a good job with them, as the wedding hire place in town would now like to buy them off of us...

 I got to babysit the children whilst Sarah went up and started the engraving of all the wine glasses.
Chloe decided that she would like to have their names engraved on wine glasses as a gift for her guests.  She bought all the wine glasses but guess whose job it was to engrave them all..

These pair got landed with that job..

The other thing that Chloe wanted to do was make a little game of noughts and crosses for all her guests, so once again we had to engrave all these little calico bags with a noughts and cross grid on the back, and then the wording "Hugs and Kisses from the Mr. & Mrs." on the front.  They turned out really well...

I think the most painful part of making these was writing noughts and crosses on all the pebbles that had to go in each bag.  I think we had to do write on a good 1500 of them.  Still it all came together on the night and it all looked amazing....
