THE RECEPTION AND ALL THE LITTLE DETAILS...

I must admit,  the reception centre looked amazing... every little detail was taken care of and it looked a million dollars.  Big thank you to Dan's best men and their wives, Chloe's bridesmaids and their husbands and boyfriends who worked tirelessly all day Friday to make sure the venue looked amazing.  A huge thank you also to Chloe's friend Caitlin who spent the whole day with us also making sure that all the little details were taken care off.    She did the signage on both blackboards for the wedding and they looked amazing...

Beautiful set up for the reception..

Now it's time for speeches from the Bridal Party...

Time for the best man's speech..
Jaran delivers his speech...
Finally the Groom responds with his speech....

 Time for the bridal waltz..........

And they all took to the dance floor.....

A good time was had by all...
Time to cut the cake....

 The food was amazing.....
Dan and Chloe had decided on an alternate drop menu and their options were amazing.  In fact it was hard to decide.  Finally they decided on:

Chicken breast stuffed with feta, spinach &
sundried tomatoes wrapped in prosciutto
with preserved lemon couscous and cumin scented
sweet potato with burnt sage butter

Black Angus Rib Fillet on oxtail risotto, garlic prawns,
Dianne sauce & mushroom wontons

Glazed lemon tart with caramelised oranges,
praline and raspberries

Chocolate fudge brownie with peanut praline
and cherry ripe nutella ice cream
The Canapes were amazing and there were plenty of them,  they just kept coming out and we had lots of positive feedback about the food.  the Canapes that Dan and Chloe chose were...

Cherry tomato goats cheese & basil tartlets
Salt & pepper squid with garlic aioli
Coconut prawns with spicy mango sauce
Butter chicken with red lentil dahl in wanton cup
Crispy pork belly with chilli caramel

There wasn't anything that we didn't love about the night...

The Bridal Table
The deck overlooking the river
The deck was beautiful set up with festoon lighting and fairy lighting and was well used throughout the evening...
Steve's brother Dave and his wife Tina..
The newly wed shows off his wedding ring...   So happy to be married at last
Chloe with her good friend Daina..
 And there was more dancing......
Phil and Janine
Willow was up to dance...
 Willow had gone to bed....
Once the music started though, out she came in her PJs and she was right into it also.  For a child that is nearly aways in bed by 7pm,  she was still partying hard at 10.30pm at night.  She had a ball...

And all too soon it was time for the couple to leave....
This day has just flown....
They left to a send off with sparklers..
How pretty did it all look....

Being the bias parent that I am,  I thought the day was just perfect.
One we won't forget in a hurry...
Everyone seemed to be having an amazing time...
No one was in a real hurry to leave....
Couldn't be happier to welcome Dan into our family, and so very grateful and thankful for our three amazing children and their wonderful spouses.  I feel as if we have been truly blessed beyond measure...
