ROAD TRIPPING....

Air fares are so expensive at the moment....
Sarah and the children decided to drive me home and spend a week with me whilst Steve took off for a blokes week away fishing.

The kids aren't too use to long road trips, and we were not even off the Gateway when Willow was asking us how much longer to go before we would be getting there.  Poor kid, we less than an hour into a 7-8 hour road trip

On the whole the kids were pretty good, Willow suffers from car sickness so we would have to wind the window down for her to draw in the fresh air...

Meanwhile Max hates the window down, and the moment it went down he would be whinging that he wanted it up as he "can't breathe Mummy".

We arrived in Childers mid morning and had a short stop at Maccas in Childers for a toilet break, a kids play break and a hot drink for Sarah and I.

 Couldn't resist taking these photos of this cutie.  He is so adorable these days and I love him to bits.  Oh to be 2...

Sarah and I decided to be good so we ended up sharing a piece of banana bread with our hot chocolate and coffee.

 Max wasn't missing out of any of his cake... he was just stuffing it into his mouth.  I think he ended up with more than Willow...

Once they had had a good run around and been to the toilet it was back in the car and off we went again.  it was a good trip home with us getting into Rocky around 1.30pm.  I think we were all relieved to finally get out of the car.
 Now for the fun to begin in Rocky..
