HER FIRST BOOK WEEK:

She was so excited about getting dressed up for Book Week and went through her book case with her Mum to find a book character that she could represent.  In the end she decided to go as Ralphy the Book Thief....

Then it was time to find a costume.  Well Sarah shopped high and low for a blue and white striped t shirt and in the end decided to paint it herself.  Willow was very excited to help her and went to get length to describe to me exactly how her Mum had done it using sticky tape on the T Shirt.

She helped her Mum write the words " I live books".  As Ralphy was a male rabbit, they decided to put their own twist on it and Willow wore pink boots with a flower attached to her bunny ears.

She looked super cute and had a wonderful day.

 Once again they did a writing task about their Book Week and Character.  I am so proud of her,  she is doing so well will almost 200 sight words under her belt and reading at a level 8 or 9.  This week she even got an award for her reading and scored a new book.
