TRIP TO IKEA
On our second last day in Brissie, we decided to take the children for a play at Ikea... Sarah had a couple of things she needed to get from there, and we wanted some cushions for our wooden chairs at home...

Max thought this little monkey was pretty cute, and the fact that she was named after his Mum made it even better.. |
We were very good and didn't spend too much at all this visit, but I do so love getting ideas from some of their amazing displays...
Saw some great ideas for bathrooms also... nice to take a few photos for future reference....
I loved this hanging board also, and would have bought one if they had sold them as such, but this was made up by staff with just a piece of board, and some of the leather drawer handles that Ikea sell. I was till tempted to buy the individual pieces myself and make it up but it would have worked out at over $75. I have leather at home here, so thought that maybe we could make something similiar ourselves.....

Love these clothes hooks... |
We got a couple more ideas for storeage especially to be used in the caravan as we really do not have enough storeage in our wardrobes.... I really want to put some shelves in Steve's side as most of his clothes are folded and not hung. We have decided to keep some hanging space on my side for both of our clothes, and then put some extendable loose shelving in my wardrobe also....

Something like this would work in my wardrobe in the caravan... |
Just getting ideas......
I also love getting some ideas for having plants in the house also... Not that these are real plants, but you could incorporate these ideas into using real plants...
They had lots of amazing ideas for outdoor entertaining also... I do love going to Ikea.....
It is not just a shopping expedition, but a great day out too...
