PLANNING ANOTHER TRIP...

Our good friends Ian and Kathy have expressed an interest in doing a trip overseas next year to Israel and Jordan, and wanted to know if we would be keen to join them...
Well of course we were, but we needed to know a little bit more about the trip so we contacted the two organisers Donna and Quang, and decided to meet with them over dinner to discuss the trip..

We were to meet at an Israeli restaurant on the north side of Brissie but unfortunately the restaurant was closed so we ended up at a beautiful little Persian restaurant instead...

The meal was lovely.  I opted for a Pomegranate Chicken and vegetables that was just so yummy

 The vegetables had so many flavours in them and I would have been just as happy with them.  The chicken was so tender and just melted in your mouth....
Steve had the lamb shanks, and he totally enjoyed them also...

 The girls had the fish and it looked awesome too.  I think I would have enjoyed any one of these meals..

 We had quite a few questions about the tour, including the safety aspect of it, but the girls were able to answer all our questions, and in the process build up our excitement... It sounds like an amazing trip, and we are so keen now to be a part of it...  We were happy to come home and fill out the paper work and pay our deposit.....

 Quang and Donna were lovely woman, and we are so excited to be apart of this adventure with them both... We will be following the steps of Elijah through the Holy Land.  So many exciting things to experience....

 We finished our evening with hot drinks.  Steve and I enjoyed hot chocolates whilst they girls enjoyed cups of tea....

So excited to be joining not only our friends Ian and Kathy, but also the girls on the amazing adventure in 2020..
