I am spending this week in Brissie with Sarah and the children. Sarah had organised to have a girls day out with Willow, some of her friends, and some of the Mummies of her friends...
Willow had never been ice skating before, so whilst Max was at Day care, we took off for our girls day out...
It was a great day, the girls all enjoyed themselves, and it was great to see their confidence build as they skated around the arena...
I must admit I froze, and a couple of times I had to head into the little Coffee Shop that was there just to get warm..

You were able to hire these little penguins, to help the children keep their balance as they learnt to skate around...

The girls had a ball. I think the Mums were surprised at how long it kept them entertained. They were expecting the girls to be sick of it after a couple of hour, but they all lasted the distance and I think we were there for over 4 hours.... right up to closing time...
It is so good to see them all having so much fun together.....
