OFF TO VISIT MALENY DAIRY TODAY...

It is always a nice start to the day when the grandchildren come and join us in Bed.  Willow and Max have always done this, but Theo joined them on this holiday.  I think he just loved being with the other children, rather than spending time with us....

Well I won't be going anywhere this morning, as I can barely walk, and my appointment with the chiropractor isn't until after 2pm this afternoon.  Sarah and Colin decided to take the children up to Maleny Dairy for a visit... We had heard good reports about how well it was set up for Children and we thought they would enjoy feeling the baby calves...
Steve decided to join them as they planned to be home by lunch time...
Such cute little cows...
These cows aren't too bad either...
They arrived just before the tour of the dairy started,
Checking out where the cows get milked...
Tasting fresh milk from the dairy...
Max enjoying a drink of fresh milk from the dairy....

It was then time to go out and find the baby calves to feed.
After the tour through the dairy, it was time to hand feel the baby calves....
From feeding the calves, it was then off to have a go at milking the cows....( by hand of course)
We had one last visit before the tour ended, and that was to see the other animals....

Max had spied some tractors on his way in so once the tour and feeding of the animals was over, they made their way over to the tractors so the kids could have a play on them...

It was after lunch by the time they arrived home... It seems that everyone had a wonderful time and enjoyed their time there immensely.

Being left at home, I got to spend some one of one time with Theo.... got to feed him is breakfast...

Dan and Chloe took off together to spend some couple time together at the beach and then came home for a swim in the pool...
We left just before two pm to head into Coolum to see the Chiropractor and then Steve and I were planning on driving down to the other end of the coast to visit my Dad for an hour or so.  I must admit, the chiropractor sure knew what he was doing... I managed to walk out of his rooms upright.  I was still tender, but at least I could move.   Meanwhile, the cousins had a wonderful time at home together.  Theo even joined Max and Willow watching a movie...
It was a good thing that I was feeling so much better, as Steve and I were both on babysitting duties tonight so that the siblings and their spouses could all go out for a meal together.  Max and Willow went down pretty easily, but Theo was not too keen,  he is used to having one of his parents lay down with him to go to sleep, and neither Steve or I made the cut....

Fortunately his mum and dad were home by just after 9am, and he happily settled for them.
Big day planned for tomorrow as as celebrate Chloe's birthday... It is a big week of birthdays in our household with both the girls celebrating their birthday within the week.
