SARAH AND COLIN HOLIDAYING ON THE SUNSHINE COAST.....

It seems we are all having holidays....
This is the first holiday (other than when we did our lap around Australia) that we haven't seen our grandchildren and I do miss them...

BUT, I also am so thankful that they have managed to have a few days away together as a family.
They have hired an AirBnB about 10 minutes out of Noosa..
It is ideal for them as a family..
It is dog friendly so Penny has been able to go with them..
It is very child friendly, with a pool for the children, sand pit, playground and trampoline and it is also right next to the bush..

There is so much for the kids to do there, that they wouldn't even need to leave the property if they didn't want too.

Views from the verandah of their AirBnB
The Pool is handy to the cottage, as is the children's play area, trampoline, swings, and sandpit...
kitchen area
It even had a piano out on the patio for Colin to have a tinker on.... So ideal for them as a family..
Dining Area
It even has a loft with sleeping area..
Children's play area...
They are having a lovely relaxing time as a family...
Yesterday the girls had a girls day out and went to the Movies...
Then last night they had a little fire in the back yard and toasted marshmallows and made smores....
The kids loved sitting around the fire....

This morning, the played in the bush which surrounds their cottage and taught the kids some bush survival skills making a humpy......
Love these pair....
Their little humpy all finished...
Sarah and Colin have been enjoying some couple time also...
Max has enjoyed having a sandpit to play in....

Sandpit fun....
Even Penny has enjoyed the surroundings....
One more full day before they have to head home...
And the last day was spent at a water park at Coolum.... So much fun for all of them, except for poor Max who was terrified of the water where he couldn't touch the bottom.  It meant that Sarah and Colin had to take turns at holding and looking after Max, as he was not prepared to let them go...
Love that they can get away like this for some good quality family time....
