THE KIDS COME FOR A VISIT....
Whilst we were away on the coast, Sarah and the children came down for a visit, along with Hannah and Joe and their daughter Ari. It was great to catch up with them all...
On the Saturday, we paid a visit to Harbour Town for lunch. Jude and I just enjoyed sitting and chatting whilst the younger ones all went off and went for a show...
They had a few things they wanted to do. We watched the children for them and gave them a bit of a play ( and their may have also been a visit for them to the Candy Store)

Saturday evening we had a sausage sizzle up on the roof deck. It was beautiful up there as you could watch the sun set and then enjoy the beautiful colours of the evening sky before enjoying all the lights of the Gold Coast. We probably spent a couple of hours up here, laughing and enjoying each other's company...
Sarah had only come down for the day, so we had dinner, bathed the children and she left to go home when it was their bed time, so that they would fall asleep in the car...
Joe and Hannah on the other hand, had booked into a B & B ( well it turned out to be a backpackers joint) within walking distance from us, so they spent Sunday with us as well..
Steve and Joe had checked out a bait shop the previous day and found you could hire tinnies quite reasonably, so they decided to hire one and spent a good part of the day on the Sunday fishing...

They even managed to catch a few fish.
They really must have enjoyed their day out together, as Hannah and Joe are now keen to come fishing at Tannum Sands with us next Easter...
Whilst the boys were out fishing, Jude's good friend Linda and her husband Dave came to visit us for morning tea. It had been quite a few years since Jude and Linda had caught up, so it was nice to see her and we spent a lovely time chatting about old times. Hannah and Ari also joined us for the morning.....
