THEO'S FIRST BIRTHDAY..

I am so thankful for technology...
So thankful for things like Facetime and Skype..
So thankful that even though Pete, Maria and Theo live on the other side of the world, we can still talk to them and see them weekly.  This is so much better than what it was like when my children were growing up and their grandparents only lived three hours away. 

BUT... it is so hard being so far away when special occasions occur..  I wish we could have been here for Theo's very special first birthday... Mind you, not that he had much interest in his birthday anyway... He was not interested in tasting his cake and he was more than happy to let his dad open his birthday presents.....

 This very happy little boy turned one this week.....
He had a special afternoon tea with all his Danish relatives present...
