SOME GIRL TIME OUT....

It has been a crazy weekend and the kids are tired...
Sarah still needed to do a crazy shop and so we left the children at home with their dad so that they could have a sleep and Sarah and I hit the shops...

Although we mainly went to do the grocery shop we ended up do a spot of Christmas shopping as well and got presents for  the children,  Sarah looked at some shoes (she wants some for Christmas) and we just generally had a lovely day out....

We didn't catch up with Dan and Chloe today,  this was their first chill out day in weeks so they decided to spend it together and ended up Christmas shopping as well...

The shops are well and truely starting to look like Christmas now, with even Santa in the shopping centres...

Santa has arrived in the big shopping centres
Christmas is looking a little like it is from Hobbit land....
His sleigh is empty
His sleigh is empty today,  I know that if the kids were with us, they would have been in there..
We went to Cotton on to look at their shops and Sarah was also checking out an outfit for Christmas.
I already have one, just hoping it fits me by then...  Might have to work extra hard these next few weeks with my swimming...

Whilst Sarah was checking out shoes,  I found some really nice ear rings so decided to shout myself a couple of pairs....  Haven't seen these back home, and I really loved them...
My new earrings...

So many things I could match them with...
We were starting to run out of time, as I had a flight back to Rocky later in the afternoon, so headed off to do a quick grocery shop for Sarah.  Up in the food court, I found this beautifully set out Nativity Scene.  It was beautiful and such a stark reminder of the real reason for Christmas.
A Saviour was born... God's redemptive plan for mankind...  It was lovely to see as these days, most of the Christmas decorations are much more secular and the true and real meaning of Christmas is being lost....

The life size Nativity Scene

Once Sarah got her groceries, it was a mad dash home to drop them all off, bath the kids quickly and load my gear into the car for my trip to the airport...  The weekend has flown.  I'm feeling a little shattered, it has been so busy.  The kids don't want me to go home, which is nice too, but it is time to go home to the love of my life.....   I miss him also...
Home Sweet Home
 Another weekend done and dusted...
The start of a very busy week ahead.....

Found this online somewhere...  and thought how true...
We need to make every day the best day...

So let's live everyday like it is the last... Life is AWESOME.. Enjoy every moment of the journey,  the bumpy bits as well as the good bits..
