A VERY DIFFERENT EASTER...
Normally we would spend Easter at Tannum Sands with not only our family but with our church family also. This year was a stay at home Easter, although we did get to spend some time with our youngest daughter and her husband who were here to help us as Steve has spent the last week on crutches. We were all isolated for the weekend, but it was good to have some help, as well as take the technology back to Sarah so that Willow is able to be schooled from home in Term 2.
We did have some time for some family fun though. Whilst the guys were busy, Chloe and I spent most of Friday afternoon going through all the photos. It is a job I have been wanting to do for quite some time, and Chloe was keen to get some of her baby photos so she could take them home....

We had packets and packets to go through... |
We had a game of "Bear's v Babies"..
This was the first time we have played the game and we enjoyed the game... It was a pretty easy game to play and doesn't last for a long period of time, so we were able to play multiple games of it...

Dan is also very much into Drones himself and has bought one which he has been use to play around with drone fishing...
He very rarely gets it out, and with a bit o support from Dan they actually had a good time with it. They didn't send it up too high, basically just to take a few photos and just to practice flying it around...
They did get some really good shots of our neighborhood.

Ready to launch... |
Once we got back from our walk, Chloe and I sorted packing away a lot of the photos whilst Dan actually went for a run... I think our walk was probably a bit slow for him, so he took off to do a 5km run..
Once Dan got back from his run, he and Chloe cooked us a wonderful dinner tonight... Prawn fettuccine... They made a huge pot of it, enough to feed us for a couple of days. It has been so nice spending time with them...
After dinner it was time for some more games. We decided to have a game of Carcassonne. This is another of those games that we played in Denmark when we were there and really enjoyed it so ended up buying our own when we got home to Australia. We haven't had much of a chance to play it so it was good to get it out and have a few games...
It has been a very different Easter this year. A very quiet one but a good one also. It has been nice to just stop after the crazy month that has just been.
As much as we should have been back on the Sunshine Coast trying to sort out Dad's estate etc, having to be in isolation was a good excuse for us not to be down there, and we were able to feel a little more relaxed about being at home. The choice was taken out of our hands..
We have missed our grandchildren something terrible though these holidays. They were also very sad that they weren't coming camping with us... still their Mum and Dad made sure that Easter was special for them and we will see more what their Easter looked like in my next post....
