THE GRANDCHILDREN ENJOY THIER EASTER FRIDAY...

The Grandchildren were to have spent Easter with us in the caravan at Tannum Sands and we were all very much looking forward to it....

Obviously with the coronavirus COVID 19, and the total shut down of the whole country, especially over Easter, no one was going anywhere.  The Children had already had an extended holiday as schools were forced to close a week earlier before Easter.

Sarah and Colin set out to make their own fun for Easter,  and getting the kids out of the house and out into the fresh air was a high priority.   Parks were off limits, as they had all been closed a week or two earlier to abide by the strict social distancing laws that have been introduced...

In the end, Sarah took some chalk to the park and the they made their own "Rainbow Trail Easter Hunt".  The kids had a ball and loved it that other people were having fun with it also, as they watched other people doing the trail...

The kids also love cooking especially Max so in the afternoon, they both made their own pizza's for dinner... The started from scratch making their own bases, then the sauce, and they both cut up all the toppings for their pizzas.  They loved it and I am sure they enjoyed their pizza's a lot more because of all the work they put into making it....
First day of the Easter break is done and dusted and everyone had a great day.
It may have been a little different to what everyone had planned but it was a great day anyway...
