GIDEON DINNER TO HONOUR DAD
Dad was one of the founding members of the Caloundra Gideon's Camp.
He has always been passionately involved in the Gideon Ministry and his involvement in this ministry has changed the course of his life...

Being honoured as the longest serving Gideon in Australia |
He has always been passionate about delivering Scriptures and has held onto the promise in God's word that it will accomplish that which it is sent to do..
Isaiah 55:11 New International Version (NIV)
11 so is my word that goes out from my mouth:
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
It will not return to me empty,
but will accomplish what I desire
and achieve the purpose for which I sent it.
Dad has always been a very active member of Gideon's International and has held the Position in Australia of National President...
One of the most life changing events to happen in his life was his trip to Nigeria in the early 80's with one other Australian, a Mr Brian McKay from Brisbane along with a group of Gideon's from America where they distributed thousands of copies of the word of God. The absolute hunger from these folk for the word of God absolutely changed my Dad' life...
As the Coronavirus takes hold in Australia, my two sisters and I were Blessed to be invited to the last Gideon dinner they are able to hold until after the lock down where they had a special dinner to Honour Dad and the role he has played in Gideon's in Australia.
We were their guests and what a lovely evening and meal we enjoyed as they spoke about Dad and presented a PowerPoint of his involvement in the Ministry. It was rather an emotional evening but we felt honoured and privileged to have been part of this special evening... We even got to sit at Dad's table
