VALENTINE'S DAY 2021...
We weren't at home for Valentine's day this year.. so there was no decorating the house...
Normally I would hang my hearts on our little table tree and hang some heart garlands around the house...
We don't usually celebrate it in a big way other than decorating at home, maybe going out together on a date or maybe a card...
Because we were away this year I thought I would grab some flowers for Valentine's day for our girls and even for us, until I saw the price. The bunches of red roses that I would normally spend $10 on were $28 on the actual day... Both the girls received flowers from their husbands anyway....
Two days later the red roses were back to their normal price range so my Valentine's Day flowers came a couple of days later.... just the way I like them... I love fresh flowers in the house so would rather have three weeks worth of flowers than just one bunch at triple the price...
I feel very blessed to have been married to the love of my life now for over 40 years and we are still enjoying and celebrating life together... In fact it just gets better as we get older....
