A VISIT TO THE CEMETERY...
It is now 12 months since my precious Dad has passed away and it is time to start thinking about what we are going to do with Mum and Dad's ashes...
Steve and I paid a visit to the Bundaberg Cemetery whilst we were in Bundaberg and got to see their new commemorative wall with the memory plates attached. We both feel that this would be a good place to lay Mum and Dad to rest as both of their families come from Bundaberg and already their parents and a lot of their siblings are buried here.

This is situated in a lovely section of the gardens in plenty of shade, and their are even seats for you to seat and be reflective...
The prices were pretty resonable also... $2070 for a Carramar Double Niche Granite with the inscription on the Plague and then to use the second placement including that Plague a further $1015. I very much think this is the way we will go...
Steve and his Mum also wandered around to find the headstones of other various members of the family. This was also very interesting and it is nice to know where all family members are buried...
Steve's brother's tombstone... It has been 20 years this year since he has passed.. |
At least we know now where to find family members at the Bundaberg Cemetery...
