ALLIES REMEMBERS ANZAC DAY..
I love how my old school remember's Anzac Day. The kids do a wonderful display which is now pinned to the front fence along the main highway for all to see.
Last year they did a wonderful display to remember our soldiers that have served to maintain freedom for this wonderful country we live in...
I am in awe of these men and probably even much more appreciative of the sacrifices they made for us are visiting Darwin a few years ago and realizing just how close we came to loosing our amazing country.
The attack on Darwin was worse than that of Pearl Harbour, but most Australians don't realize that as it was never broadcast, mostly to stop Australians from panic back then.
So we do have lots to be thankful for and our defence services need to be acknowledged and appreciated for all they have done over the years to keep our country safe...
Beautiful display students at Allies...
