IKEA VISIT...

Whilst we were in Brissie, we decided to pay a visit to Ikea.  We were keen to get another little table for beside the lounge and a small bedside table for our spare bedroom.  It was only meant to be a quick visit, but we spent a few hours there even stopping for lunch...

We found the table and they were extremely cheap $15 each, much cheaper than we anticipated but they will fit in with the little marble coffee tables already in our lounge...

We also saw a nice outdoor setting which would work well at our Sunny Coast home and surprisingly the chairs were very comfortable.  I really liked them as they fold up and can be easily stored when no one is home...  Also we could keep the table set up for four people but if we had family, we could extend it to set 8-10 people.  Have photographed it so I know what to get down the track when we want to pick one up...

Really like this outdoor setting

By the time we were half way through the store it was lunch time and we were feeling a little peckish so decided to just get one lunch and share it between us...  We ended up getting the Swedish meatballs with vegetables, garlic bread and a few chips.

After lunch we continued our wander through the store and picked up some flowers to decorate the spare bedroom along with serviettes and a few other bits and pieces we need for the house...

We also came across a few great ideas for renovating our laundry.  We know that we will have to do this in the near future as the bench time in our laundry has been eaten into by spilt laundry powder...

I think though we will wait until our washing machine dies and then when we get a new one, will get a front loader, so that we can heave a little more bench spare and hanging space in our laundry...

Looking to have a laundry tub set into a bench top with a hanging rack above the bench for hanging clothes to dry..

Just some ideas to keep for future reference...
