THE GIRLS ARE COMING FOR A WEEK'S HOLIDAY...

 I have worked with some incredible woman during my life and some of them have become long life friends.... Two of these women,  Jannett and Jenny have come down to the Sunny Coast to have a girls week. 

Steve has headed to Brissie for the week to spend some more time with the grandchildren...  He was able to take them back home...

It was after lunch before they got away.  Steve still had a few jobs that he wanted to get done before he took off as we only had a few days left after the girls left before we also had to head home...

I had invited my friend Barb down to join us for dinner, as she at least knew Jannett from when she lived back on the Cap Coast and she would find it hard to catch up during the week as she was heading off with her son and daughter in law and grand children on a camping holiday up at the Borumba Deer Farm.

Barb arrived before the girls arrived.  They drove in around 4pm.  We were all on a bit of a high, so it was drinks and nibblies whilst we waited for dinner...

I had prepared dinner for the girls, as I knew they would be tired by the time they arrived... We had a lovely roast dinner...

Nice roast dinner tonight.... the start of our girls week...

Barb headed home around 9pm.    We were all a little tired, especially the girls as it had been a long drive.  I also felt pretty weary as I had hurt my back again this morning making all the beds...

 

Tomorrow is a new day and we are off to explore some of the markets on the Sunshine Coast.....
