DAY 7 - GIRLS WEEK - MOVIES LUNCH AND STORMS...

Looking at the weather this week, we should have been in for bad weather for the end of the week.  Fortunately although we have had storms each day,  the sun still shone...

I was defintely Op Shopped or for that matter any sort of shopping, out and was keen to do something a little different today.  In the end we decided to have a girls day at the movies and then meet my friend Barb for lunch afterwards.

Lunch at Grill'd at Maroochydore

For lunch, we enjoyed some of the Grill'd great burgers.

We had a pretty chilled out afternoon at home, mostly reading and relaxing.  Jannett's daughter Lana was coming over after she finished work and then we were all heading to the Kawana Hotel just down the road for dinner...

Lana arrived just before 5pm and had a drink with us before we took off to the Hotel for dinner.  We should have booked as when we got there, the place was packed.  In the end we managed to get a table in the bar area,  there were no water views from here but the food was great...

We did get caught in a massive storm whilst we were in there and had to wait longer before we could leave to go home.  As it was, it was still raining when we headed to the car.  

It was a nice way to finish our week together on the coast....
