ANOTHER YEAR OF SKITTLE VISITS....

 Skittles arrived a couple of days later this year as Sarah, Colin and the children had been off holidaying in Cairns.  Whilst most folk have Skittles visiting from the 1st December, at Sarah's place he comes only two weeks before Christmas.  Having to think of adventures for Skittle for a month is just too much for Sarah, so two weeks it is...

Skittles arrived the evening they arrived home from their Cairns holiday where they had spent a couple of days snorkeling on the Great Barrier Reef, so it was most appropriate that he arrived in the manner in which he did...

DAY 1 SKITTLE ADVENTURES:

His message for them..

Dear Willow & Max,

I missed you this year.  I hope you had a great holiday in Cairns and enjoyed snorkling on the Great Barrier Reef.  Now that you are back, I am ready to play!  I'll be staying again until Christmas day.  I'm looking forward to reporting back to Santa each night and hope there will be much kindness and love in sight.  Don't forget not to touch me, or my magic I will lose.  I'll try and not get into too much trouble while you snooze.

I love that he was wearing his flippers and goggles and had been doing a little bit of snorkeling also...

DAY 2 ADVENTURES;

The kids this was great and enjoyed Skittles pizza for breakfast...

DAY 3 ADVENTURES:

Skittles got up to a little mischief in the Kitchen last night....

Looks like Skittles really has all the eggs worried.  Max thought this was the best.  He would tell you this visit by Skittles was his favourite.  He loved the lollies and they were all eaten by breakfast time...

DAY 4 ADVENTURES...

My goodness Skittles did get up to some fun last night…. The kids were barricaded into their bedroom that morning….. their faces say it all…

DAY 5 ADVENTURES:

There’s a lot of sliding fun going on with Skittle and his friends this morning…. This little elf certainly gets up to some fun and he seems to drag the other toys into it with him…

DAY 6 ADVENTURES;

Skittles has asked for some help from the children this morning…. They are working on putting their used joys in the basket. So far their are a few books and some stuffed toys.. we have stressed to them that it needs to be full before bedtime…

DAY 7 ADVENTURES;

Skittles decorated for Max's birthday and we were woken very early in the morning as the kids were up before the crows.  Skittles attempts at helping decorate for Max's birthday left him in a tangled Mess.  One little boy was very excited when he got up this morning to see Skittle's creation for his birthday.  I love the excitement at the Moore household this morning. 
 

DAY 8 ADVENTURES:

Thankful for a Poppy who became aware as he was ready to crawl into bed that Skittles was still tangled up in the light fitting. The other adults had already gone to bed because we were exhausted and hadn’t even given any thought to poor old Skittles. Lucky Poppy could improvise otherwise we would have had two very disappointed children that morning. Sharing Skittles chocolate before breakfast was a hit though…

 DAY 9 ADVENTURES:

Skittles all ready, suitcase packed, ready to come on a holiday with us...

Suitcase contained treats for the journey..

Skittles was nowhere to be found inside  when the children woke up this  morning… the sneaky little elf had crept into the car with his little blue suitcase to come on a holiday with us. His suitcase though held some holiday treats for the kids to enjoy in the car…. Kids were most impressed…

DAY 10 ADVENTURES:

Skittles continues to surprise the kids each morning.. He nearly got forgotten last night with us remembering that he was still in the car as we crawled in bed. Bit limited with resources on the coast to set up skittles so this called for desperate measures to ensure that Skittles surprised…. Kids thought it was hilarious.

DAY 11 ADVENTURES:

Skittles is all packed and ready to go back to Brissie with us again today. The children were delight to find he was back in the car with his suitcase packed and had written to them and left a parcel for them…. Only one more sleep before he heads back to the North Pole to help Santa….

DAY 12 ADVENTURES:

Well that’s it for another year.   It's Christmas Eve so it is back to the North Pole to get ready for the big present haul this evening….
