It was nice to be back in town for our Ladies Flourish Group's end of year Christmas breakup.
I had helped to organise it before we went away for the month or so in August September. The girls had booked the Regent Cafe in Bolsover Street for breakfast. It was such a beautiful old world charm setting and the service was great..

Ann had done a beautiful job with the table decorations which added a lovely Christmas feel to our breakfast.. Each table had a set of blocks on it with a Christmas message, along with a lovely little Christmas tree.
We had also made a little Advent folder for the girls with 24 days of verses telling the Christmas story and this was placed on the special Christmas placement that we had printed on the table...

The food was a little slow in coming out, especially since we had pre ordered it a week prior. The food was good though and we did find out a little later that the chef did not front for work that morning and the poor manager had to don an apron and hit the kitchen and cook all of our breakfasts, so I really have to take my hat of to them for their fantastic service despite all the staffing issues they had.

After being away for several weeks, it was nice to get home and get together with these lovely women.
