TREE LOPPING DOWN ON THE SUNSHINE COAST....

 Sarah and the children came up to spend a night with us... Steve was doing a little tree lopping getting ready for when we come back down to have the solar panels installed.

He did a seriously good job chopping down a couple of trees and Sarah was very helpful stomping it all down in the trailer so that we could take it all to the dump in one hit...

All ready for a trip to the tip...  I have to admit, it is a lot more expensive living down here than back in Rocky.  In Rocky it is only $4 per trailer load to dump at the tip, and that charge has only come in this around August.  Before that it used to be free...

Down here it is more than twice the cost of dumping at the Rocky dump with a trailer load of green waste like this $17 a trailer load...

After the work got down it was time to head out for a bit of a play...
