A ROCKY DAYS REUNION....

One thing we have enjoyed about living on the Sunshine Coast, is the amount of visitors we get to catch up with.  No one ever comes to Rocky to visit, but people are a lot happier to drop in and visit here.

This week we got to catch up with two sets of friends that used to live in Rocky with us but have relocated to Brisbane many many years ago.

Pete and Sylvia Jones organised a visit with us.  We managed to catch up with Pete back in 2019 when he was up in Rocky but haven't seen Sylvia in over 20 year.   We organised for them to come for morning tea and then stay for lunch with us.  Merv and Chris Connell had been wanting to catch up as well so we rang and invited them to come the same day as Steve, Pete and Merv have been good mates since their Rocky days.

Merv and Chris had been up to Bundy to check on Chris's parents so were unable to make morning tea but were here to join us for lunch.  They ended up spending the night with us also which was really lovely.

Life is becoming a lot more easier to catch up with folks a we all retire and have a little more time on our hands during the week.  We are really enjoying this new phase of our life...

Lovely catch up with Pete & Sylvia Jones & Merv & Chris Connell.

Merv and Chris have just sold their home in Brissie and are heading to Tassie for a few months.  When they come back they are settling on the coast here until their house in Toowoomba gets built.  We are looking forward to seeing more of them when they move here for 6-8 months...

We also hope to catch up with Pete and Sylvia more often too.  There are a few more ex Rockites that have settled on the coast here also, so we still have quite a few more folk to catch up with yet...
