DINNER OUT WITH DAN AND CHLOE....

 After a crazy busy day unpacking our garage and setting up for a garage sale, and Dad doing some inside work for us, we decided to head out for dinner.  Neither Dan or Chloe bought clothes up with them to go out, so we had to raid our cupboards to find something for them to wear...

Dan was looking forward to going to the Kawana Hotel for a meal, but it was completely booked out for the evening so we decided to head to Lone Star at the Kawana Shopping Centre.  By the time we got there, they only had 10 minutes until their kitchen closed so weren't prepared to serve us.

This didn't leave us too many option.  In the end we decided to head down to Alexandra Headlands to Aerodrome Road and see if we could find a restaurant there...

 

Yori the Asian Restaurant that we visited with Pete and Leanne when they were down on the coast was still open for at least another 45 minutes so we decided to eat there...  We enjoyed our meal last time we ate there and it was equally as good this visit.

 By the time we got there, most other patrons had finished their meals and were getting ready to leave, we ended being the last in the restaurant and got top service.  We decided to order different things and share them.  

We started off with some duck and vegetable spring rolls with some amazingly flavoured dipping sauce.   We followed this with a special prawn dumpling tapas...

For mains, Steve and I shared a seafood small meal and Dan and Chloe went for a house special... It was some sort of beef dish with chilli and they really enjoyed it.  Their meal was served with coconut rice and we had fried rice with our meal...

 The faces of these pair might suggest otherwise, but they really did enjoy their meal... Just paying Mum out for documenting the occasion.

It was great to have them up with us for the weekend and to get to spend some fun time with them after all the hard work they have put in helping us set up for the garage sale...
