The days are just flying by

It has been a busy couple of weeks..... it seems that at the moment I am taking two steps forward and one step back..... I am madly trying to fit in dentist visits, doctors visits, physio visits, having tests done as well as going to work, trying to get on top of things at home.
The kids at school are giving me a hard time at the moment - they all want to know what happened to me - I've been thinking I need to wear a little sign around my neck telling them that I am having sunspots removed. Hopefully in a few weeks, my face will look real good.
On Saturday we had our monthly scrapbooking get together - I am just not motivated to scrapbook at the moment. Just can't seem to get my head around it so have been busy making cards instead. I also figure it will be a lot easier to take a small box of gear to make cards rather than try to take a head of gear and photos to scrapbook.
Had fun with the little pearls on these cards - very fiddly but love the way they turned out.

Had fun playing with my punches with these ones.Had fun making these cards too. A little while ago I found this gorgeous braid of fabric flowers, I have been waiting for the time to cut some out and make them into a card. Was really happy with the way these cards turned out.A bit of lace, a bit of ribbon and some pretty pearly bling....
loving my butterfly punch - it was such a good buy, I am using it all the time, and have shared it with lots of friends. Definately worth every cent I paid for it.

Steve is getting excited.... He has two days of work left before he is on holidays for the next 22 weeks. Just wondering how we will ever managed to go back to work. He has lots of plans - he is taking of to Brissie the night he starts his long service to check out the Boat Show and spend a few days with the kids. He has a fishing trip planned too as well as getting a few things done at home and getting the caravan ready for a decent holiday. I still have a few weeks of work left year, but no doubt they will fly.

Your cards are looking absolutely stunning Karen! I've really struggled with my cards lately...it seems to be taking me ages to put together a design! Yours are very inspiring!

Hope your face is feeling better soon too!
