ITS TIME TO MOVE

Exciting news here as Sarah and Colin start packing.  After living in the same house for the past seven years, they are about to move.

It is an exciting move for them as they have bought their very first house.  They have bought in the same suburb they have lived in since they moved to Brisbane.  Their new house is in an awesome location, just a few doors down from beautiful park land.  So very exciting or them both.  They actually take possession of their new home tomorrow.  They plan to get some painting done and some new carpet and hope to start moving in some time next week.

Thought I would share some photos of their new place.

Another view of the front o their home.
Another angle of the front of their home.  Latticed patio area out front.
They have a good size back yard and a lovely big undercover area out the back.
Undercovered entertainment area at the back of their home.
Great back yard would be suitable for vegetable gardens

Shot 3 of the back yard - looking from the back fence.

Surprisingly their new home has almost an identical floor plan to the house they have been living in for the past seven years.  There are some improvements though.
Kitchen
This  kitchen has been updated a litle in comparison to the house they are living in at the moment.  it definately has more cupboards and it has a pantry.  Think the green and white makes it feel a little lighter too, as the kitchen in the house they are living in at the moment is brown and orange.
Lounge and Living Area
This area has lovely polished wooden floors.  A lot easier to look after.  Extra benefiti is that it is airconditioned too.
Bathroom
The bathroom is identical to the bathroom in the house they are in now, except the tiles on the floor here are a little darker.
Main bedroom
By this time next week, this room will look different.  They are having the insides of the house painted thies weekend, and all of the bedrooms re carpeted.   Somehow I don't think the pink curtains will stay either. Bonus is that the main bedroom is airconditioned too, although the built in cupboards don't have mirrored doors.

Finally, a photo of the proud new house owner out the front of her new home with Penny.
Looks like this is going to be Penny's new home too.... doesn't look like Pete is going to get his beautiful dog back...    They have a lovely big back yard so it seems ideal that Penny will now life with them.
Standing outside her new home.
Looks like Steve and I will be spending quite a bit of time down there these holidays.  Sarah is typing up a list of jobs for us to tackle when we get down there.

I will definatley be taking photos so I can update the changes they make.

We are all very excited for them.... Such a big year for them all.
