SWIMMING WITH BARB....

 We are so enjoying being on the coast around close friends...

My good friend Barb and her husband John have just bought a new home down by the Maroochydore River.  They have bought into a complex which has a lovely lapping pool and Barb and I have been making the most of it swimming laps each day...

It is so nice to have someone to swim with and we are swimming for a good hour each day, sometimes a little more and averaging between 1.5 and 2kms swim.  

I am really enjoying having a swimming buddy...

The pool is surrounded by lovely gardens which have these beautiful bromides flowering at the moment..  I wish I knew the name of them, as I would love to have some of these at home...

I didn't hang around for a cuppa this morning as we are heading to Brisbane to see our kids and to celebrate my wonderful husbands birthday.
