It was stinking hot yesterday. Too hot to go out. Air con on all day but we had a lovely day at home..In fact we accomplished a lot. Visitors dropped in.... Tummy Time for Willow.....
Sewing and crafting, and Penny was in the thick of it helping to babysit and even wanting to help us with our sewing. We finally got to do a couple of the jobs Sarah had on her list from the time I arrived. It was a good day and we felt happy with all we had achieved.
Love these photos of Penny helping with the babysitting.

I'm looking after her Mumma.... |
Willow is really enjoying her tummy time at the moment. Today she discovered the mirror and spent ages looking at her self and smiling. It was so beautiful to watch. I am seriously going to miss this little darling and all her little antics....
|
I'm going to be a tall girl.... Already I am on the 100 percentile line for length. |
|
Got to love these happy faces. |

|
Followed by chocolates of course... Baby present.... |
After lunch we decided to tackle a sewing project Sarah wanted to do for the baby room. She wants a cover to go around the baby change table to help keep the room looking tidy, as baths and nappy buckets etc live under this table. We bought the fabric the first week I was here and hadn't got around to making it.
We had lots of help when we were trying to cut it out on the floor.
|
Penny trying to help us lay out the fabric... |
|
You can see she was a great help... |
Then came the time to sew it. We managed to get it completed but it is not up yet. Hope that Sarah takes photos for me when she has it hung.

Sewing the ruffles...... |
|
On a mission... |
Whilst I sewed, Sarah did some crafting and covered a little box so that she could put all of Willows head bands in it to keep them all together...
|
Covering her box... |
Whilst we were busy working, Willow and Penny happily sat there and watched us. She really is a wonderfully contented little girl....

Watching Mumma and Moppy. |

|
Not a peep from her |
|
She had a good baby sitter though |
When her Mumma had finished her box, she was able to get these beautiful smiles from Willow. Just feel so blessed that she is such a happy and contented little bubba.

Eyes only for her Mumma |
|
I can see a smile coming on |
Since I only have a couple of days left before I go home, we tempted Pete with a lovely home cooked Roast Lamb dinner, so that he would come over and visit....
So blessed by my lovely son.... He arrived with these in hand for me...
|
The fragrance is still filling the kitchen. |
|
Tickled pink that he was so thoughtful... |
He had a lovely relaxing evening spoiling his puppy. He misses Penny now that she lives in the Dale, although he knows she is so very happy here. Still Penny hasn't forgotten him and when ever he comes over she s happy to see him and spend time with him.

She laps up any attention anyone shows her. |
Poor Penny little did she know what was in store for her today... She celebrated her birthday on the weekend. She is a big two year old now... She really is the loveliest dog, so loyal and affectionate and really so well behaved.
The only time she is really naughty is when she spies the kangaroos on her front yard early in the morning and she barks and barks at them. Not pleasant when you are trying to have a bit of a sleep in. The blinds arrived today so hopefully that will help stop her seeing them.
