A WEEKEND AWAY TOGETHER

We have just come back from having a weekend away together....
We decided to make the most of having a day off and headed off last Wednesday night to the Capricorn Coast for the weekend....
We had to come to work on Friday, but that was OK, we just drove up for the day and then headed back to the coast....
So relaxing...
Steve had to work, but somehow he managed to get heaps done whilst we were away and still managed to find time to go for walks on the beach etc...

Great Van park - we were set up under the shade of a wonderful tree.

 This was a great van park.... the owners were so friendly and helpful, and we were able to take a late get out on Sunday afternoon which gave us a good four full days down on the coast.....

 We enjoyed relaxing breakfasts each morning....

 Unfortunately, Steve still had to work.... he had so much to do, but even he thought that it was a lovely relaxing weekend,.. In a way he got more done by being away because there were no distractions like there is at home....
He still found time to take breaks which we spent on the beach....

 This van park is ideally situation right across the road from the beach,  it was just lovely to spend time each day strolling along the beach... There is something very soothing and calming being on the beach around water,,

Steve spent time looking for cuttlefish. 

 Steve was happy to wander round looking for cuttlefish for our birds.... and exploring the foreshore...

 I enjoyed some lovely long walks along the beach....

 It was the perfect day,... couldn't have asked for better, and we really enjoyed our time out on the beach....

We took her for a walk on hte beach too....

 Once again I enjoyed a lovely long walk along the beach...
The solitude is relaxing and refreshing..
It is a good time to reflect and give thatns to an Awesome God for his faithfulness and goodness to us.

 Chloe stayed for dinner, and then she joined us in a board game....
Such a lovely relexing weekend... We are very keen to go do it all again soon.

 The time went all too quickly.....
We have another busy weekend again this weekend....
We are off to visit our Daughter, Son in law and granddaughter....
Looking forward to spending time with them both....

I am struggling to keep on top of it all this year...
It has been busy...
It is hard to believe that two thirds of the year have gone...
Where has that time gone too....
