WILLOW'S DEDICATION...

It has been a busy fee ma weeks...
Last weekend we spent the weekend in Brisbane celebrating birthdays and Willow's Baby dedication.
It was a great family weekend, we got to catch up with all our families, and Colin's families as well.
The grandparents and great grandparents made the effort to be there as well as uncle and aunts and cousins, and as I looked around me I realized just how blessed this little girl is to be bought up in such a loving and caring group of people who will always be there to love and support her.
How blessed are we all...
We got to go out for dinner to celebrate the girls birthdays as well...
Lots of photos from last weekend and then I have a heap of them from this week to share as well..
That will be another post no doubt....

Willow all rugged up  to go out to dinner on Saturday night
We celebrated the girls birthdays on Saturday night and all went out for Dinner in Southbank.  A real treat for Steve's mum to see all the lights of the city... Willow looked so cute all rugged up in her new onsie and lovely furry coat... Of course I can't get enough of her cuddles and smiles....
Cuddles from Poppy
All dressed on Sunday morning for her dedication... She knew we were going out and didn't want to have her usual morning sleep so Poppy got to cuddle her and eventually get her off to sleep
Playing "Supergirl" will Willow
Poppy loves to play a game with Willow called "Supergirl" where he flies her around in a super way..
She loves it and all has big smiles whenever they play it.
The most adorable Willow..... Cutest baby ever
Ready to leave for Church
The next photos were taken at church just before her dedication service.  We were thrilled that both my sisters and their families made the trip to Brissie to attend the service, as did all the great grandparents, grandparents, cousins, and lots of their friends.... Truely felt so blessed to see so much love and support for this precious child...

Dedication Service
One of Sarah's friends from her teenage years had a little baby girl 10 days before she had Willow... They have kind of reconnected again and have been keeping in touch.  Josey and her family also made it to the Dedication Service...
So nice to see all friends getting together... Glad the girls have reconnected.

After the service, we all went out for lunch together at one of the sports clubs.  There were about 25-30 of us....
Lunch out with family and friends...
Pete has a friend over from Denmark at the moment... They actually met in South America and with another friend of theirs did a trip together over there too.  Maria and her friend have been in Australia for the past six months... Her friend had to go back but Maria has stayed on for an extra month, so Pete has been showing her the sites of Brissie....
She also came to Willow's dedication service....
Her comment was that church here is much different to church in Denmark.
Mind you Sarah and Colin's church is quite different from the conventional churches in Australia too.
Anyway,  Pete and Maria have spent quite a bit of time with Sarah so it was wonderful that Maria was able to make the dedication too.

Both Sarah and Colin have brother's call Pete, so it was only fitting that Willow had her photo taken with her Uncle Petes.

We managed to get some photos of Willow with her Great Nana Latham.  This was the first chance Steve's mum had of meeting Willow and she was almost six months old.  She loved her time down with us and one of the highlights for her was that she still hadn't lost her touch and she managed to put Willow to sleep on a couple of occasions...  She was chuffed....
Great Nana Latham with Willow
Unfortunately we missed out on getting a whole family photo as it is pretty hard to have everyone together in the same space, and Colin had to fly back to Cairns straight after the service as they were the support band for the "EVERMORE" Queensland Tour, and they were playing in Cairns that evening...
We did however manage to get some photos of the 4 generations on the Latham side....

 It was a great weekend....
So much love..
So good to catch up with all the family, and never enough time to really catch up on all the news...
Felt so blessed all weekend...
It has been another busy week with birthdays, Mother's Day and visits from family...
Will share these photos in the next couple of days...
