A RELAXED WEEKEND...

What a truly great weekend.  Our first weekend in months that we have had nothing on....
Exams are over for Steve and we had no weddings, no parties, no visitors, a total chill out day for us..
We spent all of Saturday staying home and catching up on work that has been neglected for weeks.
Mt Washmore was leveled,  the mopping and vacuuming got done,  we had visitors drop in for a catch up,  I managed to do some crafting,  all the ironing got done.  The lawn got mowed, the yard tidied.  Such a good feeling to get so much done....
Loved seeing the line like this....

Clean washing on the line.....
Whilst I was hanging out the washing,  this is what I saw....
I love these plants....
The only things is that, they only bloom once a year, but they are quite spectacular when they do..
The fireball Plant.
Close up of the Fireball
It is good to see our back lawn finally looking like this
Our back yard nice and green again,
It has been so dry here for the last four months or more, that our whole back yard was dead a fortnight again.  We have had a couple of storms in the last week, and it is wonderful to see life back in the earth again..
We've been eating plenty of these in the last couple of weeks also...
Our banana trees are flourishing at the moment and providing plenty of these for us.  It is a pity that Willow and Sarah are still not with us...  Willow loves bananas and would be eating them every day.
Lots and lots of sugar bananas
On Sunday, we had a lovely day out together....
We went to church in the morning, had a farewell lunch with friends that are leaving here this week, and then spent the afternoon wandering through Masters and Bunnings....
We also managed to do a big grocery shop together.  It was so nice to just not be in a rush to do anything.... Not pressure to be anywhere.
We definitely need more weekends like this.

Just wanted to share these couple of special photos...
The  official photographer at the wedding we went to the other weekend, just happened to be a good friend of Chloe.  She captured these lovely shots for us.... Loving her work, and can't wait to see the rest that she took.
With my beautiful girls...
Then she took these gorgeous photos of my beautiful grand daughter.
The beautiful Willow
Such a gorgeous little girl.
Love this photo of Willow with her front teeth showing..
I am truly feeling blessed...
